International Students

Gander Flight Training will assist all International students who are new to Flight Training or have acquired some Foreign Licenses and will provide the necessary support and guidance from first contact till you graduate. Many of our international alumni work here in Canada and across the world and provide GFT graduates mentorship and career progression advice.

Our admin team can assist you with immigration as well. As you are probably aware, Gander Flight Training does not make any decisions when it comes to Student Visa Applications as they are governed by the Canadian Federal agency IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada).

The IRCC resources provided in our Student Resources Pages can assist you in determining the necessary immigration requirements as per your current residence or nationality, since requirements vary based on your nationality or current country of residence.

GFT has experience in providing guidance and assistance when it comes to your immigration needs. Here at GFT, we want to ensure that you feel at home while you sharpen your flying skills and graduate. Atlantic Canada Pilots are well respected across the world for having developed flying skills in challenging weather conditions that strengthens not only your aircraft handling skills, but also critical thinking and pilot decision making abilities as well.
